Data Sync and Contribution From Wherever You Want
Joining the Symform network means being a part of the cloud by contributing local storage in exchange for cloud storage. To make this exchange easy, Symform enables you to choose how much bandwidth you use during contribution and sync, and which devices you use for data sync versus contribution. Let’s say, for example, that you want to sync data from multiple devices or a centralized storage server at one location, but also want to contribute excess space from a device at a different location. No problem. Such flexibility is especially advantageous for IT solution providers who want to contribute on behalf of their customers, so that customer sites are only responsible for syncing data, and contribution to the network is handled elsewhere. We call this solution “flexible contribution.”
