Step 1: Download and Install SymformThe lightweight Symform client is quick to download and install. After installation, enter your email to get started. |
Step 2: Confirm Your Email & Set Your PasswordYou will receive an email with a code to confirm your email address. (Add noreply@symform.com to your safe senders list and check your junk/spam folder if you don’t see the email) |

Step 3: Select Sync & ContributeSelect both the Synchronize and Contribute check boxes (read about the benefits of contribution.) |

Step 4: Choose the Folders to BackupMirror your local backup files to the cloud or point Symform directly at your folders you want to back up to the Symform storage cloud. |

Step 5: Identify a Contribution FolderIn order to receive up to 200GB of free cloud storage, you need to contribute local disk space to the Symform network. Note that you must identify a non-mobile, always on device as the contribution device (such as a NAS, desktop computer, server, etc.) |

Step 6: RelaxYour data is now being protected in the Symform Storage Cloud. Login to your account to view upload progress. |
