Getting Started With Symform Takes Just Six Easy Steps:

Step 1: Download and Install Symform

The lightweight Symform client is quick to download and install. After installation, enter your email to get started.

Step 2: Confirm Your Email and Set Your Password

You will receive an email with a code to confirm your email address. (Add noreply@symform.com to your safe senders list and check your junk/spam folder if you don’t see the email.)

Step 3: Select Sync and Contribute

Check the boxes for both Synchronize and Contribute (read about the benefits of contribution.)

Step 4: Choose Folders to Back Up

Mirror your local backup files to the cloud, or point Symform directly at the folders you want to back up to the Symform Cloud Storage Network.

Step 5: Identify a Contribution Folder

In order to receive up to 200GB of free cloud storage, you need to contribute local disk space to the Symform Cloud Storage Network. Note that you must identify a non-mobile, always-on device as the contribution device (such as a NAS, desktop computer, or server.)

Step 6: Relax

Your data is now being protected in the Symform Cloud Storage Network. Log in to your account to view upload progress.
