Getting Started with Symform takes just 6 Easy Steps:

Step 1: Download and Install Symform

The lightweight Symform client is quick to download and install. After installation, enter your email to get started.

Confirm Email

Step 2: Confirm Your Email & Set Your Password

You will receive an email with a code to confirm your email address. (Add noreply@symform.com to your safe senders list and check your junk/spam folder if you don’t see the email)

Step 3: Select Sync & Contribute

Select both the Synchronize and Contribute check boxes (read about the benefits of contribution.)

Step 4: Choose the Folders to Backup

Mirror your local backup files to the cloud or point Symform directly at your folders you want to back up to the Symform storage cloud.

Step 5: Identify a Contribution Folder

In order to receive up to 200GB of free cloud storage, you need to contribute local disk space to the Symform network. Note that you must identify a non-mobile, always on device as the contribution device (such as a NAS, desktop computer, server, etc.)

Step 6: Relax

Your data is now being protected in the Symform Storage Cloud. Login to your account to view upload progress.
