Step 1: Download and Install SymformThe lightweight Symform client is quick to download and install. After installation, enter your email to get started. |
Step 2: Confirm Your Email and Set Your PasswordYou will receive an email with a code to confirm your email address. (Add noreply@symform.com to your safe senders list and check your junk/spam folder if you don’t see the email.) |

Step 3: Select Sync and ContributeCheck the boxes for both Synchronize and Contribute (read about the benefits of contribution.) |

Step 4: Choose Folders to Back UpMirror your local backup files to the cloud, or point Symform directly at the folders you want to back up to the Symform Cloud Storage Network. |

Step 5: Identify a Contribution FolderIn order to receive up to 200GB of free cloud storage, you need to contribute local disk space to the Symform Cloud Storage Network. Note that you must identify a non-mobile, always-on device as the contribution device (such as a NAS, desktop computer, or server.) |

Step 6: RelaxYour data is now being protected in the Symform Cloud Storage Network. Log in to your account to view upload progress. |
