We know, we know – every company today claims to be “green.” At Symform we aren’t into tricks or gimmicks and we most certainly don’t like “greenwashing.”

These initiatives are all respectable and, quite honestly, might be the best they can do given the circumstances. But we like to think a little differently than most.
Instead of building and maintaining huge data centers, Symform has aggregated the unused capacity sitting idle at businesses around the world to create a virtual data center. The systems that make up the Symform Cooperative Storage Cloud are going to be there, turned on and running, regardless of if we are operating or not. We have taken one of the tenets of environmental stewardship – reuse – and built our business around it.
Symform does not require any new equipment to be purchased or any additional electricity to be consumed in order to provide complete offsite disaster protection. Go ahead, try to find an online backup solution that’s greener than that!
